Unable To Access Affordable Healthcare

This is the evilest thing ever happening in the U.S. Affordable healthcare has been discussed so many times by both parties. But in the end, there is no resolution for that. According to The Peter F. Peterson Foundation, there are 30 million Americans not having health insurance. This is a massive void in the American health system. It is unfair when people who don’t have money have to pay a fortune whenever they go to the hospital. The bill goes on and on without knowing how to deal with it.

I watched a video online when a guy asked some British about the price of medical in the U.S. All of them were shocked when the host revealed the price. For example, the price of an inhaler is around $240 to $260 without insurance; the cost for an emergency room is about $1,000; the cost for delivering a baby is over $20,000 (we will go back to this topic. Oh boy, there is a lot thing to say about this.) A girl from the video said that you’ll die if you don’t have money. Perhaps, that summed up everything in the U.S. healthcare system. People cannot have a fair chance to have affordable healthcare.
Whenever the Democrats introduced a healthcare bill, the Republicans would reject it immediately. The only reason is that they received money from big pharmaceutical companies that suck blood from the American people. They only care about their pockets, shares, stocks, and values. That makes me sick. Return to the story of delivering a baby, it is unbelievable that it costs over $20,000 without insurance to give birth. I was like, if they don’t have money, the baby will stay inside them until they have enough money. And if they give birth all by themselves, the risk is higher than ever. So they have no choice but to go to the hospital. It is so funny, though. I actually laugh at this. The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, which made abortion illegal again in many states. But in reality, there is no change in how they provide for pregnant women to access healthcare. They want to ban abortion but don’t care about pregnant women. They still have to pay out of pocket for delivering their babies. They also cannot choose what to do with their bodies. I feel sorry for them.
I keep asking myself why it is so hard to provide affordable healthcare for American people like that. American people deserve to have full access to healthcare. Whoever doesn’t have money, they should be provided one. Let the people have their basic needs!
