I always believe that we have a voice and it is really important to express what we think and how we feel.
Throughout every post, I want to tell the stories from my point of view. Perhaps, it may be different from yours or same like yours. But either way, it is my voice and I should not be worry about what others may think about.

Writing is the most powerful tool

Hello, my name is Huy. Closed friends of mine always call me Oggy, which is the name of a character from my favorite cartoon "Oggy and the cockroaches". I come from Vietnam and I have been in the U.S since 2015. I am not a special person. I don't have any special talent like other people. I'm just simply "me". I love watching movies (especially old black-and-white movies), reading books, cooking even though I always make a big mess, and listening to jazz as a way to help me relax. In the future, I want to be a journalist like Chris Wallace, Katie Couric, Anderson Cooper, and Bob Woodward. Journalism, in my point of view, is the greatest job ever because it connects people, it brings the news, it can face any danger, and it tells the truth. In a world of diverse media and biased news, we are easy to fall into that news without knowing whether they are true or not. But there is only one truth and a real journalist will be the one who looks for the truth. That's why I want to be a journalist.
