Hollywood is the dream of every aspiring person who wants to reach the star and the highest place in this show business. They want to win an Oscar, they want to have a star on the Walk of Fame, they want to have a big fortune, and they want to have all the fame. Sometimes it is very hard but many people don’t even care about the price of being famous in which they did many “naughty” things to get what they want. “Singin’ in the rain” is a very funny, colorful and musical movie.

The audience like me would never pay much attention to the lesson or the dark truths of the film industry. Choreography in this movie is so good and each song is sung with great voices. Overall, Singin’ in the rain is a classic movie which has told a story of an old Hollywood decade where everyone that had talents could become an actor.

The movie is set in the time where silent movies are changing into talkie which has made many difficulties for actors because many of them don’t have great voices like Lina in the movie. But a person who would never give up and always wants to be famous and be respected like Lockwood will find all the ways to be on top and be famous forever. When I watch this movie, I don’t see any bad sides or anything worse about the Hollywood industry because it is simply a musical and comedy where it entertains people with all the melodies and funny scenes.

With me, this movie shows the positive sides in the show business of Hollywood where everyone is competing in peace, equally, and not using scandals to become a star. But it doesn’t mean there is no dark side. Compared to today's film industry, the competition is much more crucial than that where people must be hustle to step their foot in Hollywood and they will push other people down to be on top. It is so bizarre and disgusting to me. Besides Singin in the rain, movies like “All about Eve” or “Chicago” told more about show business where scandal and manipulation take the throne to rule the morality of show business.
