INDICTMENT! Other Elements

Former President Donald Trump will be arraigned on Tuesday, April 4th. Trump returned to New York on Monday, April 3rd, from Florida. According to the Washington Post, he had surrendered and will “face a judge in a criminal proceeding for the first time.” Woah, I cannot believe he surrendered. I mean, Trump has always been on top. Remember the 2020 election, he refused to concede and spread out the conspiracy that the election result was stolen.

After so many investigations, there was no evidence that the election was fraudulent or that the result was stolen. Because of that, the consequence of that conspiracy was more prominent than ever. At least, Trump acknowledged that if he didn’t surrender, he would be in handcuff on Tuesday, April 4th, and until then, it would be a humiliation. Just imagine a scenario in that Trump is handcuffed and pushed into the police car; then, he will be booked into a facility and taken a mugshot with fingerprints. Outside the Trump tower, the protestors and supporters shout at each other. Oh boy, that will be fun. But unfortunately, it will not happen at all. Strangely, Trump will return to Florida on Tuesday night after appearing at the New York Supreme Court. So, there will be no mugshot of him after all. I shared in the first column that Trump successfully survived two impeachments, and with this indictment and the upcoming trial, Trump can always get away with his crime. People always say, “no one is above the law,” but I believe Trump will never understand the meaning of it. He never shows any sight of fear or remorse for what he did, especially with this indictment. The day Trump has to pay the price is here. Also, the secret documents that were found in Mar-a-largo will be an essential element to add to Trump’s mountain of crimes, which according to CNBC, there are 30 criminal charges against him in the indictment.

There are three things that I care about Trump at this moment.

One is his wife, Melania Trump, Former First Lady. I don’t know if she truly loves him or not. But during Trump’s presidency, they looked like they hated each other so much that there were only a few rare moments they shared the same photos. Melania didn’t even smile. But former president Barack Obama made her smile at Barbara Bush’s funeral. That priceless moment went viral. Obama always brings a positive vibe.

Two are their children. Eric, Don Jr. and Ivanka are all I care about because their influence (with Jared Kushner and Lana Trump) and connection to their father are more remarkable than Barron or Tiffany. Of course, they must be outraged and go on Twitter or Truth Social to blast and blame the democrats and the Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg. What else can they do besides that? Think about that for a second. The trio made no difference during their father’s presidency. They only stood behind Trump’s back, supported his decision, travelled with him to foreign countries, tweeted nice things about their father, and praised Fox News. That’s it! Do they have any experience in politics and law? No. Do they know anything about the Constitution? Perhaps but no. Do they understand the meaning of “indictment”? No, for sure, because, like other Republicans, after hearing Trump was indicted, they just went on fire and stormed on Twitter and Truth Social. See? The trio only knows how to moan and groan. They should add Majorie Taylor Greene to the club.

Three is Trump’s lawyers. I think that the only hope that Trump has right now is his lawyers. The main point is how they will represent, defend, and save him from prison in front of this indictment. We will see how it goes in the next few days and when the trial begins.

Tuesday, April 4th, will be crucial for Trump and this nation. But the chance for the second January 6th is higher than ever. Trump supporters, aka MAGA cult followers, will be there and try to show support to their cult leader. They don’t need to understand what happens or at least take a look at it to see why Trump is indicted. If something terrible happens to Trump or prevents Trump from running for president in 2024, the followers will stand up and be ready to die for him, just like on January 6th.

But I hope the security is high enough to prevent any act of violence that may happen on that day.
