This is a hilarious movie. Dr. Strangelove can be the real reflection of the world’s leader in front of the war or any bad situation. In the movie, each important character, like President Muffley, General Turgidson, or Captain Ripper, reacted to the bomb situation very ignorantly, and all they tried to do was put the situation into a joke without any good solution for both sides. Instead, they invited other people to come to the war room to advise them on what to do—a man from the enemy side who did nothing but fight with General Turgridson. A strange doctor with many weird theories about the bomb and the war turned out as an ex-Nazi.

President Muffley did nothing but call the Russian President to convince him to stop the bomb instead of giving orders or listening to the advice of all the prominent Generals in the room. It must be a joke because it seemed like the U.S. did not know how to deal with the war. War is always a big political issue; no one wants it to happen, but sometimes it must. This movie is a big influence on political war and other issues. (Pandemic, for example). All the world’s leaders should think of a way to fix the problem more than just sitting there and listening to nonsense words. Another part of the movie made me laugh but also profoundly impacted me. All the soldiers on the plane were on the brink of danger when they were trying to follow the orders to protect their country. They did not know what was happening in the war room. There is one thing unfortunate that the big guys in that war room will receive so many medals and promotions after the war. So contradictory.
Another similar scene like that was when Mandrake and Ripper were fighting over the three-letter quote, and some were paranoid about poisoning the water of the American people. It was his theory. Soldiers were dying outside, and they were fighting like a child. How can the fate of the country depend on these people? It was a shame. Just like people in the war room who were dealing with the situation in a bizarre way, Ripper was a psycho with all of his nonsense actions and not listening to Mandrake. He used his power to demand people and he was always right no matter what, like President Muffley, who did not listen to his men; instead, listening to strange people from outside. On the other hand, Mandrake cared for the peace of this nation and his general too. He represented people who truly loved their nation and were ready to maintain peace.
