Hello everybody, I hope you are doing well. Thank you for reading my post. My blog has five different categories and I must admit my favorite category is Camera...Action, where I write movie reviews and share my thoughts. As you have or haven't known, Cannes Film Festival is happening and I thought why don't I spend this week watching some movies. I will call it Movie Week. I hope after this week with every movie I share, you can add to your own watch list to enjoy later.
A mother’s love is the biggest power in the world. It is true because no matter what happens, a mother still loves her children and protects them in front of danger. A mother can lose the whole world if she lost her children. The pain that no word can describe.

Changeling is a movie about that. Based on the true event that happened in Los Angeles in, 1920s, Christine Collins was a single mother living with her son, Walter. One day, her son had gone missing and she had to find him despite the fact that the police department put no effort into her case or any other missing case, which related to some brutal murders in the area. Christine, many times, was being criticized for her actions to the police and her stubbornness. They threw her inside the madhouse where other women here were completely normal. But it did not stop her from finding her son and having faith that her son was still alive.
The massacre in Wineville, California, had raised the wave of rage among people back then where the killer abducted and murdered young boys. Not only that the ignorance of the police was also a hot scandal at that time where they did not even mind investigating further on the missing cases. In the end, thanks to Christine, the whole dirty things from the police department were being exposed. But with her, she had not found her son yet. Christine knew she could not give up because out there, she still believed her son was still alive. That is a love of a mother.
Directed by Clint Eastwood and starred Angelina Jolie, my idol. Angie had portrayed the image of a desperate mother who lost her son, and she also expressed the deepest pain of a woman who was being doubted by her mothering ability. Angelina Jolie earned herself an Oscar nomination for superb performance.
Watch it and you will cry! Highly recommended.
